These cover the account you open with us. The numbers in them are read from the same settings the software enforces, so they cannot quietly go out of date.
“We” and “us” means the company operating RateYourCleaner. “You” means the business opening an account. “Your customer” means someone who opens one of your review links, who is not a party to this agreement and has no account with us.
Insert the legal entity name, registered address and jurisdiction of incorporation before launch.
A hosted review link for your cleaning business: a page your customers open, a private inbox for what they send you, and a dashboard showing what came of it. Starter is $14.99 a month for one location. Pro is $29.99 a month for up to 5 locations and includes a code for each person on your crew. Month to month, no contract, no setup fee.
14 days with full Pro access and no card. When it ends your sign in still works and nothing is deleted, but the dashboard locks until you pick a plan. Your links and printed QR codes keep collecting for another 30 days, and everything they collect is waiting for you.
From the same billing screen you started on, and it stops future charges immediately. Your data stays and you can export every rating and note to a spreadsheet, including while the account is locked.
Any of these can get your Google listing penalised, which is the thing this product exists to prevent. If we see it, we will tell you first. If it continues, we will close the account.
On Pro you can create a code for each person who cleans for you. A code is a link, and anyone holding it can open that person’s card and show it to a customer. It carries no access to your account, your inbox or your numbers.
Ratings, notes and any contact details your customers leave are yours, not ours. We hold them to run the service for you and act on your instructions about them, as set out in the privacy policy.
The product connects to Google, Stripe and the providers listed in the privacy policy. Your use of those is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their decisions. In particular we are not responsible for what Google does with your listing, for reviews Google removes or filters, or for changes Google makes to what its API allows.
Your ratings, feedback, customer contact details and branding remain yours. The software, the design and everything we write remain ours. Nothing here transfers either.
There is no formal uptime guarantee at this price. The customer-facing links are the part that matters most, and they are built to keep working when the dashboard is locked or an integration is down. We will take the service down for maintenance only when we have to, and will say so in advance where we can.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will bring you a particular number of reviews, that Google will publish or keep any review, or that it will be free of faults. Anything not written here is not promised.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost reviews or damage to reputation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
A lawyer should rewrite this section and the two above it for the jurisdiction you operate in. As drafted they state an intention, not an enforceable limitation.
Write to us first. Most things are settled that way and quickly.
Governing law, venue, and whether disputes go to arbitration or to court, all need inserting. This is the single most important gap in this document.
If we change something material, account holders are emailed before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If you would rather not, cancel and export your data.
support@rateyourcleaner.com, or the support screen inside the app.
These describe how the product is built and intended to work. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. The sections marked above still need your entity details, governing law, dispute resolution and a limitation of liability written for your jurisdiction. Have them reviewed before you take payment.
