How this product handles personal information, in the order it flows through the software.
Last updated 12 August 2026.
Two relationships, and they are not the sameIf you run a cleaning business and have an account here, we decide how your account information is handled, and this policy is our commitment to you.
If you rated a cleaning company through one of their links, that company decides what happens to your rating and your note. We hold it for them and act on their instructions. Ask them first, and we will help if you cannot reach them.
What we collect
From business owners
- Email address, used to sign in. There is no password to store.
- Business name, and optionally an address, phone number, website and booking link, all of which you choose to show on your own customer page.
- Brand colour, logo and the wording you write for the customer screen.
- Payment details, held by Stripe. We never see or store a card number.
- Support conversations, including anything you attach.
From the people who rate a business
- The star rating.
- Anything typed into the private note.
- A name, email address or phone number, only if supplied. All three are optional and the note sends without them.
- A random session identifier, so a rating and the note that follows it can be joined together.
Nothing on the customer screen is required except the star. We never ask for a name, and the form works with all three contact fields empty.
Collected automatically
- IP address and browser user agent, recorded against a sign-in session so an account holder can see where their account has been used, and to limit abuse of public endpoints.
- Which screens are opened and which buttons are pressed, stored as events. These produce the numbers on a dashboard, and they are recorded whether or not you accept measurement cookies, because they are how the product counts your own results.
- Referring address and campaign parameters, when present in a link.
Cookies and similar
- Sign-in cookie. Necessary. Keeps you signed in. Removing it signs you out.
- Support session cookies. Necessary. Set only while a member of our team is viewing an account with permission, and recorded in that account’s audit trail.
- Your consent choice. Stored in your browser so we stop asking.
- Measurement cookies. Only after you accept. Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Advertising, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Refusing changes nothing about how the product works.
Who else processes it
Each of these does one job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising beyond the measurement tools listed above, which run only with consent.
| Who | What for |
|---|
| Vercel | Runs the website, stores uploaded logos and support attachments |
| Neon | The database. Every account, rating and note is stored here |
| Resend | Sends sign-in links and low-rating alerts |
| Stripe | Takes payment. Card details go to Stripe, never to us |
| Google | Signing in with Google, reading your own business listing, and sending a customer on to write a public review |
| Upstash | Rate limiting, so public endpoints cannot be flooded |
| Freshworks | The support widget, when you open it |
| Google, Meta, Microsoft | Measurement, only with consent |
How long we keep it
- Ratings and notes are kept until the business deletes them or closes the account.
- Sign-in sessions expire on their own, and end immediately when you sign out.
- Sign-in links expire twenty minutes after they are sent, and work once.
- Closing an account removes its data, including every rating and note collected under it.
What you can ask for
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see what we hold, correct it, delete it, take a copy elsewhere, or object to how it is used. Texas, California and several other states give these rights, as do the UK and EU. We apply them to everyone rather than checking where you live first.
- Business owners: export every rating and note as a spreadsheet from inside the product at any time, including while an account is locked. For anything else, email us.
- People who left a rating: ask the business you rated. If they cannot help, email us and we will pass the request on and follow it up.
We do not charge for any of this, and nobody is treated differently for asking.
Children
This product is for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Where it is processed
Data is stored in the United States. If you are contacting us from elsewhere, that means it is transferred there, and the providers above are the ones handling it.
Security
- Everything travels over an encrypted connection.
- There are no passwords to steal. Signing in uses a one-time link.
- Sign-in tokens are stored hashed, so the database holds nothing that could be used to sign in.
- Every account is separated at the query level, so one business cannot read another’s ratings.
- When our team views an account to help with a problem, it starts read only, taking control is a deliberate second step, and both are recorded where the account holder can see them.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the product rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
